CORRUPTION WILL NOT BE A WAY OF LIFE BUT A THING OF THE PAST
These were the exact words the president said on his first speech. Four years down the line we have seen his own permanent seceratry expose corruption deals in Kibaki’s government. His own ministers were implicated in these deals and never faced the court of law to prove themselves innocent. Ringera being the highest payed civil servant responsible in prosecuting corrupt individuals never took action to ensure that those individuals were brought to book but instead defended corrupt individuals cought on tape. These and many more activities being supported by the government are the reason why it will take our country another centuary to elect a govenment that will truely work for the people of Kenya. Leaders are meant to be people’s servants but once they assume office they become people’s bosses.
Mr Ringera needs to impress the law in which he was appointed to defend by making sure that currupt individuals are brought to book regardless of their political parties or origin without any influence by the government in office.
