The faces look familar to every Kenyan who has had the oppotunity to look at them. These are among the few induviduals that Kenyans had confidence that if they are given the oppotunity they will libarate Kenyans out of poverty, corruption, tribalism and police brutalty among many more.
They played a role in drafting a constitution which was approved by all Kenyans but due to the political climate at that time, this draft was never given an ok by the then President.
During their campaign five years ago , (Kibaki,Raila,Nyachae) promised Kenyans that if elected they will pass the Draft within hundred days of office. Kenyans gave them mandate to do so but five years down the line nothing has happened so far. The drafting of this constitution spent millions of tax payers money but it was finally trashed. Mr RAILA who worked day and night to enable Mr Kibaki win was finally sidelined by selfish individuals who were afraid that the new constitition will favour Raila. Every Kenyan know what Mr Raila has done for this country democratically.
Mr Nyachae who was one of the leaders at Bomas, ended up disowning the draft after joining the Government.
Politicians have manipulated Kenyans for years and they should not be given any more chance to exploit Kenyans. We all must be ready to hold these people accountable and make sure that the same mistakes don’t happen again.
