Kenyans have gone through a lot of suffering fighting for their democratic rights since we gained freedom from the colonial rule but nothing much has been achieved since.All their effort has always been frasturated by the leaders they elect. In 1992, we all witnessed innoncent lives lost during the movement for mult-partism. In 2002 Kenyans were able to elect a democratic government which promised to liberate all Kenyans regardless of tribe. Five years down the line,the same leaders who promised heaven on earth have turned against their promises. Corruption and tribalism which were a mong the promises the currents leaders promised to eradicate has been a way of live .For how long will Kenyans wait to get the Government that is going to be for the people and by the people?
This is not going to be the end of corruption,it is not the end of tribalism, it is not the end of lawlessness.The struggle must continue until we attain our liberty.
For us to achieve all these, Kenyans must start holding our leaders accountable and make them understand that they are in office because people elected them.
